Good buddy Will plays bass in the Melbourne based band, Mansion, Alaska. If you or your buddies are into some Indie Rock schtuff, check them out.
If you like what you hear and want to keep up-to-date with them, here’s their Facebook page.
Cheers.
Most people on tumblr won’t reblog this because it doesn’t “fit” their blog.
Well, this baby girl has a disease. It’s a cancer that is slowly eating up her body. Its called Necrotizing Fasciitis (Flesh-Eating Bacteria). She is currently under serious condition. This was put on tumblr to be reblogged for donations. Each reblog is equivalent to $1. The more reblogs, the more money goes for her treatment. Every 4 hours a child dies from cancer. I am praying for her.
What if this baby was your daughter/sister/niece .. etc. How would you feel?
If you don’t have a heart or a care in the world.. Keep scrolling.

Julia Leigh’s Sleeping Beauty is now available to stream via SundanceNOW (before it hits theaters), and to help celebrate, we’re giving away a rental code to one of our followers here on Tumblr.
All you have to do is reblog this post, and I’ll pick a winner on Friday, November 18th.

One of the few songs that can consistently send shivers through my body and bring me to tears. This is music at its finest.
I’m really enjoying this season so far. (I seem to say that every time I finish watching a new episode.)

It’s been over a year since I’ve properly listened to Florence and the Machine’s Lungs. I’d basically forgotten how magical Ms. Welch’s voice can be, especially on songs like Dog Days Are Over, Between Two Lungs and Cosmic Love, the latter being my favourite song from her debut album. I’m revisiting it in lead up to her sophomore record, Ceremonials, which I’ll be listening to for the first time very soon.
If you have not listened to either album by the highly talented Florence Welch and her well-oiled* Machine, I urge you to do so immediately. They are, in my honest opinion, one of - if not - the best mainstream Indie acts at the moment.
* - A compliment regarding how good a band they are, especially when they’re able to complement their lead singer’s gloriously soaring and descending voice.
